.ppt formatting wonky

I'm using Office 2011 for Mac, btw.

It looks like there are two issues here: First the text is a little smaller than it should be. This is something we are working on. Second is the placement of the image. This is due to the rotation. If you have the text and the shape grouped together then rotated this might be causing the bad placement. If you were to rotate them separately then position them it might work better in our system.
Please let us know how this works out for you.

They actually are two separate elements rotated independently.

For now, I guess I will just place them traditionally.

Shoot, well that is something we need to fix. I have tried to reproduce the problem with no success.

Hi Crystal,

Sorry for the trouble. It's possible your presentation is using a font type we do not currently support, which is causing the formatting issues to appear. If you could forward us a copy of your presentation to help@mindflash.com, or https://www.yousendit.com/dropbox?dro..., we can take a look at it on our end to verify the cause.

Hi Crystal,

I took a look at the file you forwarded us and it appears like you are using some custom slide size settings in your presentation, which is resulting in formatting issues. Our conversion is built around the default settings within PowerPoint due to the size of our course player. The default settings in PowerPoint are 10"W x 7.5"H with Landscape orientation. For best results, it is recommended to stay with these dimensions.

Thanks for looking at this. That's a change I can make. Just one question, I already started recording audio on some of these slides (I didn't notice that things were unaligned till after the fact). If I make a new slide and hid the messed up one will the audio still be present or will it be hidden and I have to re record the slide?

Crystal-

If possible, you might be best off to just adjust the existing slides rather than making new ones. If you do that, you can replace the ppt in Mindflash using the replace function. Doing so will match the slides up with the recorded audio. If you add new slides and hide the old ones, you would have to re-record your audio.
